A Farewell to Arms
My recent work is focused on making treated book pages using a vintage copy of A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway. I was inspired by Tom Phillips' A Humument, and am working my way through each page of Hemigway's book, selecting words and phrases to create a poem, then creating artwork to embellish the page. The final product is both poetry and visual art combined.
